Description
Andrews Salts is indicated for the relief of upset stomach, heartburn and indigestion.
Product Information:
- Each 5 g sachet of powder contains: Sodium Bicarbonate 2.158g, Sodium Carbonate 0.5g, Citric Acid 2.155 g, Excipients (Sodium Ciclamate, Orange Flavour, N°6- Yellow FDCY colorant.)
- Store below 30°C.
Directions for Use:
- Adults and children 12 years and older: Dissolve one sachet in water (minimum of 1 cup). Use when symptoms occur. A second dose may be taken after 2-3 hours. Do not take the second dose less than 2 hours after the first dose. Maximum daily dose: 2 sachets in 24 hours. Do not use more than 14 days
- Children under 12 years: Not recommended
Cautions:
- Do not exceed the maximum dose of 2 sachets in 24 hours.
- Allergy to the formula components: do not administer to patients with kidney or liver disease, or to patients with rectal bleeding. Interactions: Do not use with anticholinergics, quinolones, ephedrine, lithium, salicylates or tetracyclines.
- Use only if the sachet is intact
- Do not use if you experience stomach pain, vomiting and other symptoms of appendicitis
- Do not exceed the recommended dosage
- Do not use more than two weeks unless your doctor recommends it
- Do not take along with dairy products
- Keep out of the reach of children
